Treasures Tin

Hello Ladies
Welcome to February and my first post, using our brand new
Magnolia Lane Collection by our very own Sue Smyth.
I know Mothers Day is a while away, but it never to soon to start thing of it, so today I've created a "treasure tin" just for mum, using a old coffee tin.
First I choose a page from the 12x12 paper pad "Elegant Lady", cutting it in half, and attaching it to the tin, with 18mm double sided tape

As there is a small gap, at the top and bottom of the tin, I've covered it with pink cardstock, then take a piece of Pink Decorative Lace, run soon 3mm double side tape along the centre of the lace, fold it in half, run more tape along the folded edge, now attach to tin

From the 6x6 paper pad, cut form the Elegant Lady sheet, the lady corner, with foam and double sided tape, attach it over the lager Elegant Lady,
here layer flowers and butterflies, from the Ephemera set, with foam tape

to the large Lady image, I added Couture Creations Adhesive Pearls - Pretty Pink, to her string of pearls, and head band, a small Cottage rose to complete her head band

cut 5 Drifting Feathers, ink the edges and place them behind the flower cluster 3 at one end,
and 2 at the other end

Place a couple of tassels for the Ephemera pack, along side the tassel in the pattern paper,
use foam tape for a little depth

cut several from the layered flower collection using Blue Eyed Daisy, ink the tip of each petal, glue each layer together, spray with a little water, bend petals into the centre, when dry reopen flowers

Lid of tin covered with flowers, Couture Creation Gems, and pearls have been added to the centre, and Ephemera butterflies, glued on to wire, hover over them

Added a few bits and pieces, to make it your own, have fun with this beautiful range

Hello all
welcome to my 2nd December post,
here I've used dies from the all of these collections
Couture Creations

Ultimate Crafts
Invali

Too Darn Cute Layout

From the Everyday Essentials, I cut 2 of the Classic Leaf in cardstock and the Edith butterfly form Edith and Baby, in patter paper covering it with glue, and topping with glitter

take the Flourish from Elegant Card Cuts, Mercato Flourish, this I have used as a leaf vine behind my flower

Secret Gardens Butterfly Flourish, is a lovely addition to my flourish cluster

Again from pattern paper, I cut one Invali Fancy Butterfly

Using one Camden Cottage Rose, spritz with colour, touch the edge of some of the petals, a brush and the spritz make the flower a little more interesting, then lightly sprayed with spray adhesive, and glitter sprinkled over that, shake off excess glitter, makes for a very nice ice flower

all your elements are now ready to put together, add a few other bits and piece, and your done, have a play with these dies, but most of all have fun with them

Taking the Blue Eyed Daisy dies, I cut several of each size, then I inked the tips of each petal, some of the flowers i just tipped the petals up to the centre, the other flower I twisted each petal on a skewer, added a brad to the centre, and top of it I placed  2mm gemstones for a little bling

.

My clear flowers were created, with the Star Of Jasmine die, I cut these out of a coke bottle, inked the edges, and genterly heated them over a candle flame, till they started to curl

Floral Layers
Perfectly Petite Doily's

Thursday, December 10, 2015

Hello Ladies
December is here, and today I have a sweet little card, for you, it could be used for Christmas, birthday anything, with just a colour change.
We are visiting a few of Couture Creations earlier collections, Kalini, Everyday Essentials,

First I cut my card to size, and a second panel, which I sanded the edges using our sanding block

Here I've used two of the petite doily collection, Lotus Daily, Glamor and Grace, to make the flowers, cut 3 of each doily, adhere each one in the centre, with the Glue Pen let dry, spritz with water crunch each layer, into the middle, when dry gently reopen, and some gemstones to the centre

take the Kalini Swinging on a tree, using the tree section only, cut 4, these we are using as the greenery, behind the flowers

Now to the New Pearl Drops, smear some of the Everygreen over your card, around the flower spray

Cutting the baby butterfly form Everyday Essentials Edith and baby, here I added a little

Close up of flower spray, add some cottage roses to fill out the spray

Add a little Pearl Drops Pharach to give the New York Street Light, a glow

Hope you like my card

Well Hello Everyone
Welcome to my 1st November post
Today I'm stepping back a few collections,
to play with a couple of old favourites form
 Kalini Collection and Secert Gardens

OK this is a quick layout for you all taday

First I took the Secert Gardens Pointy Fence , and cut enough to run along,
2 sides of my pattern paper from the Heart Ease 12x12 pad,
these I have run along the left side and top

On the right side and into the bottom corner, use a 3 Sponge Doubers and 3 shades of ink,
and  Cog Stencil, to make a grunge edge

Here I cut one each of Secert Gardens 3 Letter Boxes, added a few Gem stones, popping these at different hights behind my cog cluster

Cut a the full set of Kalini Gears # 2 , this I cut from a core cardstock, turning one over, and add a little silver ink with a Sponge Douber, these I laid over the chipboard cogs, to make a bigger cluster,
again adding a few Gem Stones

Gem stones galour on this layout, I added them to this chipboard corner, to make it pop

Well thats that, add a Title, and some bitz'n bobs and you all done,
hope you ejoyed, and never stop having a play with old favourite.
