Yes, I drove right over top of her, with my niece watching, Luckly for the dog and myself, she came out of it with just a scratch in her.

Great Time

Well I'd like to thanks veryone that attended the Scrapreteats weekend, I had a ball, and managed to complete 6 layouts and 50 Christmas cards.

So thanks again Ladies for putting on a great show, and cant wait for the next one

This weekend I'm off the Scrapreteats weekend away, cant wait these retreats are always filled with fun, and giggles, along with great challenges, food and company.
I have set myself 8 projects to do, the 4 challenges from Scrapretreats and 4 from the scrappers outlet. so I'll see how I do.

New babies

Well its been a while, so for a quick update.
While I've been MIA we've had 6 new calves born this month, and their so cute as all baby aniamls are, done a bit of slashing and fencew repairs, the first paddock work in ages as its been so wet.

And I've mage it to ASI design team short list. so excited but still along way to go.

Weekend at Home

We had a weekend at home, due to our nieces 21st birthday dinner, which was just beautifull, a nice evening was spent with family, great food, and nice wine, thanks for the invite Shannyn.

Happy 21st Shannyn for Tuesday.

Sunday still rain Grant and I went to harbor town, for a sdtop of shopping, he shopped, get four nice shirts and a pair of pants, I brought one top, so how says women are the shoppers.

Wet, but Great

Had another wet trip to the farm on Friday, had to drive through some veery deep creek crossings to get there, I must say all the rain has mead it look soooo green, it lovely.

The Rain keeps coming

Although the rain is great and we need it, I like to have it stop for a couple of weeks, so the property could dry out a bit, but it just keeps coming, it just so boggy, you cant even get around in the 4X4, can only use the quads.

Will post a couple of Marks (next doors) tracto and trailer bogged to the hilt, put the tractor out withours, and had to hook both tractors to the trailer.(FUN)

But I have to say the RAIN is good.

More Brisbane house guests

We have more house guest in Brisbane, they will only be here for the week, "we hope", Snow and her baby boys are now at home, with Mini and Sweet Pea, as one of her little guys was not doning to well, we can keep an eye on him a little better here than at Stanthope, so we have the daily clean up in the bbq area every day, 5 goats in a small Brissy back yard, make such a big mess.

Not that, that matters as long as, the little snowball is all better, when it's time to go back to the country. "cant wait".

I have just last year started cross breeding my drought master bull with my 3 murray greys cows, last year they had there first cross breed calves 2 boys and a girl and Saturday morning when we went to feed and check on veryone, my Chocolate girl Missy Moo had a beautiful chocolate baby girl with her, only hour old, we called hewr Miss Molly.

And I call my crossbread breed Murray Master, And I'm going to look in to how to make this a registered bread.

New Jibbinbar Orphans

Jibbinbar Orphans, we have 2 new kids at home after the weekend, My Niece Tayla named them yesturday, one is a light ginger collour with white ears, her name Whitey, as she has very soft white ears (from a 5yr old) and the is a tricolour hows name is Sweetpea, cause so little and so cute.

Big Wet

Well the rains finely came to Jibbinbar over the weekend, that means all our dams are full, it a great sight to see them running over the overflows, have not seen this for about 3 years, this mean all gong well, there will be no water drams this summer.

Skamps adopted boy Waggs is doing very well, she is such a good mother, and Mini seam to be doing well after her first week back on the farm.

I'm Back

Well we're back from a week at Jibbinbar, was a big week down there, we did a goat round up and sent 130 billies to market, and brought in ablout 380 nannies which were dropping kids everywhere, like from Tuesday to Sunday i would say there were around 130 kids born, and ther so cute.
From the round up we had 5 orphans, which are now at Old Mac Donalds farm.

Those of you how know Skamp, she now has a baby boy of her own named Waggs, Snow has twin boys called Snowball 1 & 2.

Well we had another big weekend boundry fancing, finally finish one section, feels so good to have it done.
Have a new baby goat down there, from one of our friendly mob, and she's just so cute, will load pic later today.

Big weekend

We had a big weekend reparing one of our boundry fences at Jibbinbar, strat before sun up and 80% done by 3.30pm, not a bad days work, but boy I'm feeling it now.

Done a couple of LO's last week for TSO challenges, will post them later this week.

Scrapping at Tracey tomorrow, so hope to have a few more to post.

Name change

The orphan kid Stubbie, has had a name change, Grant said Stubbie was a boys name, so now her name is Pixie, and it suits her.

Winter Clean

Yep, I'm having a winter clean up at home, have let the place get a little messy of late, so doing the big through out room by room, will do this over the next week, and once it's ship shape, it will be staying this way, as we have no kids you would think this would be easy. so heres hoping.

Long weekend

We spent the long weekend at Jibbinbar with friends, didn't do much at all, found a new orphan kid, called her stubbie as she has short little ears, so now we have 3 goats in the backyard with the dogs.
Finished 2 layout for The Scrappers Outlet CA Challenge and Sketch Challenge, just need to uplaod them today.

Busy Bee

I'll be busy today helping Tracey get some thing ready for the show, we have to top 900 biscuits with icing, and she has 6 more cake to ici ready for decorationing, as she's been very busy playing with the Cricut Cake and designing cakes for Print Blocks, so if your at the Brisbane P&C show, pop over to the PB stand and say hello to her.

I wish both stands a successful weekend. I'll be at the farm.

Jibbinbar baby

When we got to the farm on friday arvo, we were greeted by the girls, along with a little surprise, Gloria had a little hefer calf in tow, she is so cute, her name is Sally.

We also sent 4 steers and a bull of to the market, this is our first sale, so hopefully they give us a good return, fingers crossed.

Great Weekend

back from Scrap Retreats weekend had a great time, enjoyed the food , the few drinks I had and the chats with new people to the group (welcome ladies), and catch up with the regular Scrap Retreat crew, had some very late nights, managed to complete 5 layouts, great effert I think.

Thanks heaps Scrap Retreats for the weekend, cant wait for the next one, will be watching.

It's almost time

Car almost packed the last few thing to through in tomorrow, and where of to Scrapretreats, Minden Retreat.

Hope I dont leave something behind, most of the time I do.

3 Sleeps

Well with only 3 sleep left, I really need to get my act together, clothes are packed, still need to pack the scrap'n stuff and the all important bottle.

I'm getting a little excited, one week today I'm off to Scrap Retreats weekend, cant wait to have a weekend of pure scrapping, along with some good food, a few drinks, and catchiong up with friends you've not seem in a while.
So next week it be packing all my bits togehter.

Spent the day at Tracey's on Saturday, as it was Jordyns 1st birthday party, it was a lovely party, I had a nice time catching up with poeple, we've not seen for a while, all in all had fun.

Anzac Weekend

Our Anzac long weekend was spent at the farm, finishing the down pipes to the new tank, also doing a bit of brush cutting.
And reflecting on the Anzac's, and what they did with the land, they were given on their return. We look around our property, and try to imagine how hard it must have been, clearing the land, fencing and all this done by hand, ours are 2 return serviceman blocks.
We also have a new resident at Kuraby, new orphan goat, her name is Mini, as she's a little skinny Mini, shes so cute, will post pic's later.

Yesturday I spent a very nice day with Jordyn, who said baby sitting a 11month old was hard, we played and eat lollies, and them at 10.20am she was a bit sookie, so we had cuddles, and off to sleep she went, waking up at2.00pm just in time to go pick up Tayla from school.
After school pick up the 3 of us went to KCF for an afternoon snack.

All in all it was a nice day.

Quite day toady

Not to much happened around my place yesturday, just a bit of catch up around the house.
Today I'm of to Tracey for a spot of baby sitting.

Well I must say I was sleeping like a baby, after 3 very crazy days at PB, but it was just a FAb event, and so very on the go all time, the classes rooms that Tracey, Tania and Deb were incharge of, were just crazy full on all day every day, and the catering, well all I cant say is, tea, coffee and food never stop.

I'd want to thank Alia heaps and heaps for her 2 days spent with me in the catering tent, I couldnt have done it with you, and Tania for helping me flip the burgers on day 2, and having a great hubby, who saved our burgers when I ran out of lettuce, and Deb for slicing the tomatoes for the bbq on day 2, your help got me over the humps, many thanks to you all.

Oooh and thanks ladies for remembering me and Alia xoxoxoxoxo, to you two.

Set up day

Today I'm of to Print Blocks to help out with Creative Block, set up the kitchen area and check of the food stock that I ordered from work, and generally make sure I'm ready to start the catering, for the next 3 days.

Popped over there yesturday with Tracey, and gave a helping hand, we put together the international guests hotel gifts (very Aussie), and the PB thank you letters to the helpers (VN).

Hospital trip

Spent the weekend at the farm, but this time with a differance, had a hospital trip, Grant desided we needed to fine out where the Stanthrope Hospital was, so he crushed he finger, splitting the tip in half to the bone (yuk). So ice pack in hand of we went, 35min later and quick directions from a man on the sreet, we landed at the hospital, the doctor and nurse in ER were great, they cleaned it up, checked the bone, bandaged, and gave us drugs, and of we when, but had to stop back in Monday morning on the way home for a check and redress.
