Anzac Weekend

Our Anzac long weekend was spent at the farm, finishing the down pipes to the new tank, also doing a bit of brush cutting.
And reflecting on the Anzac's, and what they did with the land, they were given on their return. We look around our property, and try to imagine how hard it must have been, clearing the land, fencing and all this done by hand, ours are 2 return serviceman blocks.
We also have a new resident at Kuraby, new orphan goat, her name is Mini, as she's a little skinny Mini, shes so cute, will post pic's later.

Baby sitting

Yesturday I spent a very nice day with Jordyn, who said baby sitting a 11month old was hard, we played and eat lollies, and them at 10.20am she was a bit sookie, so we had cuddles, and off to sleep she went, waking up at2.00pm just in time to go pick up Tayla from school.
After school pick up the 3 of us went to KCF for an afternoon snack.

All in all it was a nice day.

Quite day toady

Not to much happened around my place yesturday, just a bit of catch up around the house.
Today I'm of to Tracey for a spot of baby sitting.

Well I must say I was sleeping like a baby, after 3 very crazy days at PB, but it was just a FAb event, and so very on the go all time, the classes rooms that Tracey, Tania and Deb were incharge of, were just crazy full on all day every day, and the catering, well all I cant say is, tea, coffee and food never stop.

I'd want to thank Alia heaps and heaps for her 2 days spent with me in the catering tent, I couldnt have done it with you, and Tania for helping me flip the burgers on day 2, and having a great hubby, who saved our burgers when I ran out of lettuce, and Deb for slicing the tomatoes for the bbq on day 2, your help got me over the humps, many thanks to you all.

Oooh and thanks ladies for remembering me and Alia xoxoxoxoxo, to you two.

Set up day

Today I'm of to Print Blocks to help out with Creative Block, set up the kitchen area and check of the food stock that I ordered from work, and generally make sure I'm ready to start the catering, for the next 3 days.

Popped over there yesturday with Tracey, and gave a helping hand, we put together the international guests hotel gifts (very Aussie), and the PB thank you letters to the helpers (VN).

Hospital trip

Spent the weekend at the farm, but this time with a differance, had a hospital trip, Grant desided we needed to fine out where the Stanthrope Hospital was, so he crushed he finger, splitting the tip in half to the bone (yuk). So ice pack in hand of we went, 35min later and quick directions from a man on the sreet, we landed at the hospital, the doctor and nurse in ER were great, they cleaned it up, checked the bone, bandaged, and gave us drugs, and of we when, but had to stop back in Monday morning on the way home for a check and redress.

Well as you can see, we're looking better, thanks to a lot of Cooley help, thanks heap for the lessons.

Hi, all well this is a start, hope to make this nicer as time goes on, and to fill you all in on the happings at Jibbinbar and whats doing with my scrapping.
